This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen and is so true:

I dreamt that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked
side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped

in front of the first section and said, ' This is the Receiving Section. Here,
all petitions to God said in prayer are received.

I looked around in this area, and
it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on
voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.

Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section.


The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here,
the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to

living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there.
There

were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had
been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.

Finally
at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of
a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there,
idly doing nothing. "This is the Acknowledgment Section, my angel friend
quietly

admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed." How is it that there is no work going
on here? ' I asked.

"So sad," the angel sighed. "After people receive the blessings that they
asked

for, very few send back acknowledgments"

"How does one acknowledge God's blessings? " I asked..

"Simple," the angel answered. Just say, "Thank you, Lord. "

"What blessings should they acknowledge?" I asked.

"If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead
and

a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in
the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8%
of the world ' s wealthy. "

"And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world

As you all would have realised, 5th post na ni sa blog for the year 2010!! Amazing!! Let's keep it up, malapit na tayong mag 2-digit!! hahahaha..

Anyways, yeah, as fyubee (georgia, or according to bessie, orgie.. :P) was saying, this sparked up with kent's facebook status. It was a bit controversial, that made me post: she???. But yeah, in the end the conversation just dragged on to pung-itan, and all the things that at some point in my life made me laugh!!

I miss those days.. Those days when I used to laugh until i felt like my jaws were paralyzed (seriously, this was always the case, i know friend maan can testify to that). It's sad na halos wala na tayong contact sa isa't isa. Parang bang may kanya-kanya na tayong mundo ngayon. Eh sila geb nga na nandito rin sa Diliman halos hindi ko na nakikita (in fairness, si geb, tumaba yata.. hihihi:D or baka malabo na talaga mata ko..). Sa sobrang busy at immersed natin sa college life, sa fb na lang tayo nakaka-communicate.

kasalukuyan akong nagpaplano para sa magiging speech ko bukas sa spcm1...grabe...la akong maisip...parang ang hirap ng speech namin kasi speech to entertain yung speech ko bukas...

naisip ko tuloy baka gusto nilang itrain kami na maging stand-up comedian sa isang comedy bar...haha...yuck...

pero in fairness, ayos na rin yun at kahit pano, yung magiging kalokohan kong speech ( na hindi ko pa naiisip kung ano ba talaga) e somewhat swak dun sa type ng speech...haha...

naisip ko nga yung about sa song revivals...i mean kasi...nakakairita na minsan yung mga revivals...plano kong mang-okray sa mga kanta...haha...la lang...for fun...and for the grade...haha...

kasi ba naman...may one time nun...nasa jeep ako, i think sunday nun,may nagplay sa radio na isang napakafamiliar na song...aba! si lola madonna ang kumakanta...

don't get me wrong ha...nakakatuwa kasi binibring back to life ng mga tao yung mga kanta na halos hindi na natin napakikinggan...kung maganda naman talaga yung song e, why not revive...

in fairness meron naman talagang nakakatuwa na mga nirevive...like yung sa mayday parade na when i grow up....mas nakakatuwang pakinggan nung lalaki na yung kumakanta ng when i grow up...haha..

ay...dami ko na pala nasabi...haha...nu ba yan...

sa susunod na lang ulit siguro...


sa 23 pa ko makakauwi sa amin...pano ba naman kasi...yung kaisa-isa kong exam sa 20 pa ang sked...e halos la na kong class...nagrequest nga ako ng early exam...aba! di pumayag...whatever...haha...sige lang...ayos lang yan...kesa naman di ako makauwi...hehe....

Amu ni nga times sa akon life nga kung sa diin wala na gid ko maisturya nga tarong nga ilonggo.. So, as much as possible, ilonggohon ko ang ini nga post..
Narealize ko lang subong nga adlaw, like bal-an ko nga may Filipino ako nga co-years, and even bag-o nga first year, pero narealize ko nga iban gid ya ang feeling sang nagailonggo sa nagatagalog.. And miss ko na gid na.. hehe..
Pero all the more, mas miss ko pa gid ang karay-a, my mother tongue.. Nag-isturya ko subong sa akon parents, and daw kanami gid sang feeling magkaray-a naman liwat..
Anyways, wala ko kabalo if ginmix ko na ang karay-a kag ilonggo di, pero bal-an nyo man siguro kung ano ginapangwakal ko ah.. hehe..

Waaaaah.. I miss home.. a little bit.. :P

I was just browsing through the blog and realized how nice it was when everyone was really active and really bothers to put up anything that comes in their minds.. i want to have that same momentum again, although it's a bit difficult right now because we've been so apart..
What I want to see as well is that we should have not only funny and random posts (which is so TAU), but we might as well discuss more serious stuff, because after all, we are Pisay Scholars, and we're not only random people - we are the type of people that can actually make changes, especially in our country. BUt yeah, i still want to have that touch of humour every now and again.
But all I want to see is actually that we are putting some effort into this.. I remember those days when i'm so excited to read the blog, coz everyone will be posting.. I want to have that spirit alive again.. I hope i don't lose the momentum as well, since i am very busy as well atm..

Just some updates with what's happening with me right now.
I am very busy with university applications at the moment.. I'm planning on studying in the US - damo damo didto scholarships, and I never knew about it.. I'm thinking of doing double major - chemical engineering and business.. I really want to do something nga makabenefit sa aton country, and as well as myself.. But yeah, dumduman nyo ang ginhambal sa aton ni Sir Almero? We should aspire to be employers, not just regular employees.. Hehe.. Now, everything is making sense.. We are all pisay scholars, and may we come from very diverse backgrounds, but we have some things in common - we are more gifted in the sciences and maths than most people.. And just to think about it, our potentials are enormous, and it's even greater if we work together.. And we have the greater potential to have the impact in our country, if we really strive to..

Like bal-an nyo tanan on how down our country is right now atm, and it looks like daw ka blur sang future, shouldn't we all strive to go outside the country and work. I still remember talking to some of you about our plans for university.. Almost everyone wants to take courses that would be in demand abroad.. Most of us have plans to work abroad for a better future.. But come to think about it, they will be benefiting more of us than our own country, even though you send all what you get straight back to home.. But yeah, what if we all strive our very best to work sa Philippines, or even start companies which would employ people?? Try to invest and work on what we have, and do our best to innovate and improve it.. I am sure that our country will be much better, and it will certainly be the country we want if we work hard for it.. BUt if everyone just leaves, then our country will be the shit we perceive it to be..

I want to work on this on a much bigger scale, like for example, PSHS-WVC, but then, in order to do this, I want to start this in our class, sambetau08.. I believe that the school should make the students realize more what the goals and mission are.. I don't think just randomly reciting it every monday is enough, nor does it matter.. It should be in the heart of every scholar, that since we have the potential, therefore we can have this great opportunity of having the responsibility to develop our own country. ANd if it's for the country's benefit, then it will be for us as well..

Let's put our own selves to the side for a little moment, don't aspire for the greatest gains too soon.. It may take a bit of a sacrifice, (remember ma'am resa and her classmate in la salle??) but I do think it's worth it.. We shouldn't complain how our country is, but we should do something about it.. It's a goal too far yet to be achieved, or it can be achieved, i don't know, but i'm willing to work on it..

I remember the day when I was so happy to finally leave this what i used to call "forsaken" country, and that given the opportunity, I was thinking to maximise the opportunities I will have outside of the country.. BUt I realized, that it can not only mean that I should work outside the country, but it can also mean that I can maximise the opportunities I have to our own country's advantage.. Now, my policy is Study Abroad, make use of the knowledge from outside as much as possible, learn from them, and use it to develop the Philippines.. Nice, right??

I was talking to this "soon to be" DH I met in Clark airport bound for KL.. She said "Grabe, kami nga nagpapakahirap para lang makalabas ng bansa, tapos ikaw nagtotour ka lang".. I thought about it for a second, then I said "Ngayon lang po yan, pero if magwowork na po, gusto ko po dito sa Philippines magtrabaho, at least mapapakinabangan ako ng bansa. I mean, sino pa po ba yung tutulong sa bansa natin kung hindi tayo?".. I felt kind of victorious at the moment, actually having the courage to say that..

I have the courage to say this to all of you guys, because I know na we're not just anyone - we are the ones who have the potential, we are the ones that can make the change. Let's help each other out. I hope you are all with me on this..

Let's make our country something that we can be proud of, ayt!!
